Fancy a dirty weekend?

Everything you and your lover need to have fun!

What to do

Remember this weekend is about reconnecting as a couple – not just about the rumpty pumpty (although we hope there is plenty of that too).  But there is more to connecting than just jumping into bed.

First things first – turn off your technology,  the whole point of the weekend is to really get away from it all, so it’s a good idea to turn off your mobile phones and ban the telly during your stay. This will force you both to disconnect yourselves from everyday life and focus completely on each other.

That also means leaving your projects at home.  You might be in the middle of a building project, debating whose parents you’ll spend Christmas with, or struggling to sell your car, but try and forget about all those things. Especially if talking about them is likely to end in an argument or hurt feelings.

So to take you away from your normal routine try doing something you’ve never done before, especially if it gets your adrenaline pumping. Try an outdoor activity or adventure sport you’ve always wanted to have a go at. You’ll both be rubbish (and possibly terrified!) but it’s a great way to forget all about your to-do list and concentrate on the job at hand. You could go surfing, rock climbing, mountain biking, rollerblading… choose something you think you’ll both enjoy.

And when you are in bed?  Do you always have sex in the same way? Do things always happen in the same order? Does the same person always make the first move? Try to break out of your sexual pattern by intentionally doing the opposite of what you usually do. Like a sexual holiday really.

And remember that thisis a holiday and having a lie-in is one of life’s little luxuries that we don’t often find time to do and a very intimate way to relax together. If you really want to get it right, arrange to have breakfast in your room and remember: there’s absolutely nothing wrong with having a glass of champagne of a morning.

Below we have listed some of our ideas of things you can do out of your room to have a perfect weekend.
